Full Narrative
On November 4 or 6, 2024, I used the internet the day I moved into the apartment. I immediately noticed the computer being manipulated in the battery usage and visual changes. That line belonged to the entire building. To minimize their exposure I requested my own line be added. The apartment manager submitted the request to the internet company and within days I had my own line. Unfortunately, the speed was reminiscent with dial-up. Repeatedly I lost connection, websites could not fully upload without timing out, and I experienced quite a bit of problems streaming programs. Vietnamese government owns all the internet lines paying people to actively monitor customer usage. My line was heavily monitored and controlled. I minimized my internet usage from the first day until the day I left the apartment so much so friends and family were worried about my safety. The isolation was deliberate—cutting me off digitally to prevent communication and documentation.
