Episode 02 — Alexandria: Vehicle Tire Slashed First Time (August 1, 2024)

By: Gina Short

Excerpt

  • Parked in Fairfax County garage on August 1 to call employment attorney about illegal document access.
  • Next day: flat tire, forcing wait at Costco for repair.
  • Missed event at a Fairfax County library and opportunity to speak with Fairfax County police at apartment complex.

Full Narrative

On August 1, 2024, I parked in a Fairfax County garage to use my work phone and notify my employment attorney that the person I formerly had a long-term relationship with and his accomplices had been illegally accessing work-related documents on my computer. The next day my tire was flat, forcing me to wait hours at Costco for repair. The timing was deliberate: I missed an event at the Fairfax County library where I could have spoken to a librarian in my support network, and I was unable to talk to Fairfax County police who were visiting my apartment complex about the stalking situation. What appeared as vehicle trouble was targeted interference designed to isolate me from support.
