Full Narrative
At various times, he purposely said things that would elevate an otherwise sane and comfortable situation. I was angry when I was disappointed. I did not contribute to the household when I did. I did not earn enough even though I earned more than him. My speech and writing were sub-par even though I had a master's degree and had achieved other accolades. I had a temper tantrum when I did not. He gifted me with items he knew I did not like. He placed rug-eating moths in the house to attack mine while saying he brought them in with his plants (impossible). He placed a blue rope of shrub-eating bugs in one of the shrubs and then refused to help me extricate them. These are patterns of mental and emotional abuse. Each action was designed to undermine, frustrate, and control.
