Full Narrative

In July 2024, I decided to wipe my phone due to its hacking. The technician checked sharing location located in Find My. I had turned that off a long time before then. However, she noticed it was on. We looked at each other in shock. She had never seen it on when a user had turned it off. She conferred with a colleague who said that it would not be on unless someone turned it on. I had not. My location privacy setting had been remotely overridden—Apple staff confirmed this was not normal behavior.
