From October 2022 through summer 2024, I experienced periodic disruptions with my Yahoo email access. The week after June 18, 2024, my Yahoo account abruptly closed. That had happened sporadically in the past. In this instance, the account closing happened several days in a row. This had never happened before. The escalation immediately after seeing the person I formerly had a long-term relationship with suggested the account was being deliberately locked to disrupt my communications. The logout pattern suggested possible attempts to observe login credentials. Yahoo accounts have known security vulnerabilities.
