Event 119: Alexandria: Mental Health Helpline Computer WiFi Throttling (Winter 2022 through Summer 2023)

I volunteered as a helpline counselor for mental health organization, receiving calls and supporting those calling in. I experienced problems during every shift uploading case management information because the WiFi upload speed was too slow. Several times, the page would crash requiring me to re-enter the information. Before and after my shift the upload speed was normal. I discussed the matter with the organization and Verizon staff several times while also testing my computer many times. The matter never resolved.
