Event 115: Alexandria: USAA Website Manipulated and Unable to Access (August 2024)

I was unable to enter my password after I entered my username. I tried to enter my password for several weeks after to no avail. Troubleshooting, I typed someone else's name as a username where the site would allow me to enter a password. I drove to the USAA office in Annapolis, Maryland after seeing that the issue was not going to be resolved over the phone because the user could not replicate the issue, even after multiple discussions. The office assists USAA investments but agreed to assist me. The staff member typed my username and experienced the same problem I did. Unable to resolve the issue locally, she contacted USAA technical assistance who ultimately resolved the matter by pushing a fix allowing me to enter my username. I had never had a problem entering my username.
