Full Narrative

In summer 2022, the week we were scheduled to move out we both contracted COVID from the movers. For as long as I could remember the person I formerly had a long-term relationship with had been gaslighting me, telling me I was no good, and belittling me as a few signs of mental and emotional abuse. He stated I was not doing enough to complete the move-out. I told him I was sick with COVID. To him that was no excuse. I was good for nothing. Our neighbor let me house sit for her starting a few days earlier. I had decided not to move my stuff to that house because of illness and completing the move-out. However, I could no longer accept receiving the abuse and moved all my items to the next door neighbor's house. All of a sudden he became nice and amicable when he saw that I could stay elsewhere. It was a stark contrast to his previous behavior. He even went so far as to ask me if he could stay a couple of nights at that house. Seeking to be amicable I agreed even letting him borrow my clothes. The abrupt shift from abuse to charm once I had an exit option was classic manipulation.
