Episode 64 — Alexandria: Apartment Key Change Ineffective (Summer 2024)

SLII: Surveillance, Life Invasion, Intimidation, Interference

Excerpt (bullets)

  • Due to apartment break-ins, requested locks be changed.
  • Leasing office changed locks.
  • Did not inhibit break-ins.
  • Asked neighbor facing door to install Ring camera to watch door.
  • They did not detect unusual activity, yet people continued to break in.

Full Narrative

In summer 2024, due to the apartment break-ins I requested my locks be changed. The apartment leasing office did so. This did not inhibit break-ins. In addition, I asked the neighbor facing my door to install their Ring camera to watch my door. They did not detect unusual activity yet people continued to break into my apartment. The continued access despite new locks and camera monitoring suggested either key duplication by management or methods that left no conventional trace.
