In summer 2024, I turned off my WiFi tower. Afterward, I accessed two computers. While working offline, both computers had updates dated after I went offline. Not once did those computers go online between the WiFi closing and the update. This was proof of remote access—someone could reach my machines even when I had physically disconnected them from the internet.
